Brave Steps
Outdoor Program

Building Confidence Through Nature

Inclusive outdoor learning programs for young people, schools and NDIS participants designed to grow resilience, emotional regulation and real-world confidence.

WHO WE ARE

More than outdoor activities

At Brave Steps Outdoor Program, we create structured outdoor learning experiences that help young people build confidence, resilience and practical life skills in real-world environments.

Through guided challenges, nature-based exploration and supported risk-taking, participants develop:

• Emotional regulation

• Social connection

• Independence

• Problem-solving skills

• Self-belief

We don’t just run activities — we intentionally design experiences that build brave humans.

WHO WE SUPPORT AND WHAT WE OFFER

Three pathways to help young people to rise.

SCHOOL - SUPPORTED

We partner with schools to deliver wellbeing, resilience and outdoor development programs aligned with student support goals.

Our aim is to support schools to strengthen student wellbeing through practical outdoor-based learning.

FUNDED (NDIS)

We provide structured. goal-focused outdoor mentoring for young people who receive funded support. This includes NDIS participants, youth with additional needs and young people needing social participation support. We aim to walk alongside young people who need extra support to build confidence, independence and resilience.

FAMILY - SUPPORTED

We create inclusive opportunities for young people whose families seek growth, structure and connection outside of school. Through after-school programs, holiday initiatives and adventure days, we support the youth in your family. Because every young person deserves access to growth experiences - regardless of the circumstances.

Frankie B.

Brave Steps is what our kid needed. Luke has a real gift for building confidence. Watching the our son complete the climbing challenge and seeing his face afterwards was incredible — that belief in “I can do hard things” really came through.

Jesse N.

That was amazing! The Kids loved it. Luke brings so much positive energy to every session. Whether it was climbing or team challenges, he made sure every young person felt included and capable.
